Mickaël Azoulay created the French brand American Vintage in 2006

American Vintage is the completion of a style, which is accentuated by a vintage feel to each item inspired by the American trend mingled with the sand wash jeans image in addition to a very feminine touch.

All styles are named after American States or American Cities.
The AV lines are designed by a fashion team seeking simplicity, novelty, feminity, comfort and movement. Each line is thought of as layers that women can combine as they please.
