In 1958 swimwear brand from the early 40's SUN-DEK of California started with a collection especially designed for surfing. They created SUNDEK. In short time the brand expanded from California to Hawaii and also the East Coast. SUNDEK distinguished themselves by using Velcro and by their tropical prints.  A lot of young surfers were sponsored by the popular surf brand. The sport changed into a lifestyle brand and SUNDEK definitely suits this style.
